The countryside of Italy has to be some of the most beautiful in the world. With rolling fields, quaint hill towns with incredible views and endless cafe’s to explore, it’s a food lovers dream. It’s also the most wonderful location for an Italian countryside couple photography session.
I spent the 2020 New Year with friends in a beautifully refurbished railway house on the outskirts of Sermoneta in the Italian countryside.
Located in the province of Latina (Lazio), central Italy, Sermoneta is a walled hill town, boasting a 13th-century Romanesque cathedral called Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and a massive castle.
On Old Year’s Eve, before our celebrations started, I spent some time capturing Esther and Lorenzo. The railway house is a special place for them as it belongs to Esther’s mother.
After rain and thunderstorms the previous day, the sun came out just before lunch. The couple opted to make the most of the lovely weather with dancing, wine and kisses on the patio before we sat down to eat.
