The Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the ‘Beatrix Potter’s History, Stories and Sketches’ exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum. The shoot brings a fine art approach to old English grandeur – but with a Beatrix Potter-inspired twist!
Focusing on the writers’ love of nature, we incorporated meadow-like florals and lots of dainty details. Using the pastel colours to bring the whole look together.
The Bride’s Style
We wanted to create a truly romantic bridal style for the shoot. Firstly, a dreamy Chic Nostalgia wedding gown was selected. With billowy off the shoulder sleeves and layers of lace and tulle for an ethereal feel. Secondly, a pair of Harriet Wilde heels. Elegant, simple and stylish. And lastly, for an air of regal femininity, we accessories with a gold crown from Donna Crain.
Coupled with the jaw dropping estate as a backdrop, this editorial was designed for the romantic bride. Because every bride deserves her very own happily ever after – straight out of a story book!
