Who can resist a quintessentially English garden wedding filled with pretty white and ivory florals and handmade details?
Featuring a gorgeous bride in a blush pink wedding dress and handmade heels. With bridesmaids in soft grey and a groom in navy blue. Throw in live music, manicured gardens and an elegant white marquee and you’ve got yourself one delightful wedding!
The gorgeous bride and groom were married in Leicestershire, with a church ceremony. Followed by a garden marquee reception at the grooms family home. They styled their day to fit the reception with tons of colourful flowers looking as though they’d come straight from an English country garden…
The Blush Pink Dress
Beautiful bride, Emily is a lingerie designer by profession and designed her own gown. She was really inspired by Grace Kelly for her whole look. And with the help of her mother-in-law, Krystina Dean, they created her incredible blush pink dress.
They also made the bridesmaids dresses together. Each bespoke and made to measure with slightly different tops to complement each bridesmaids figure.
The veil was a real labour of love. The brides mum and her friend Bridget Tempest, hand-stitched all the cut-out lace flowers to its’ silk tulle hem.
The groom’s parents kindly gave the couple free reign of their home and garden for the venue. James grew up at that house, so it was really special for the couple to celebrate there.
They said ‘I do’ at St Anne’s church which was a 2 min walk from the house. When asked about the highlights of their ceremony, the bride responded, “I loved when all the guests walked us back to the reception, we stopped the traffic!”
They had a live three-piece band entertaining the guests during cocktail hour. Followed by speeches and the wedding breakfast in a white marquee at the bottom of the garden, before dancing the night away under open skies.
