Couple kissing in the sunshine on the West Malling High Street

My grandmother’s family originated from Kent and it has always been a county I have longed to explore. So when Weronika and Cameron suggested celebrating their move out of London with some photos, I was delighted to discover that they had moved to the Kent countryside… And that’s how their West Malling couple shoot came about.

The village of West Malling is just a short drive from their new home. Picturesque, with quiet streets and a little church. You will find beautiful cottages with roses and herbs in the front garden, alongside gorgeous country homes with big trees stretching whose branches extend out over the road.

Their shoot took place in the early Autumn and we were blessed with beautiful sunshine on the day. Weronika has a lovely sense of style and reflected the season by coupling an orange skirt with a black top and sandals, while Cameron opted for tones of navy.

This shoot is the perfect example of how keeping things simple and styling yourselves prettily makes all the difference. All you need is a little bit of sunshine, an outdoor setting and a whole lot of love. These are some of my favourite images from the day.

If you’re considering having your own couple shoot, I would be over the moon to be considered as your photographer.  It doesn’t have to be to celebrate an engagement or another big event. You don’t have to be married either. Sometimes it’s just nice to document a little slice of this wonderful thing called life that you get to share with someone special. Get in touch if you would like to know more.
